A parent meeting was held at the Rogachev gymnasiumtranslated

At the Rogachev gymnasium, a parent meeting for students of grade 5 “B” was held, dedicated to the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Mother’s Day. The schoolchildren prepared congratulations for their mothers and thanked them for their love and care.

The dean of the churches of the Rogachevsky district, Priest Alexey Sergeev, took part in the meeting. He recalled that the earthly mother supports a person throughout life, and the Most Holy Theotokos intercedes for people before the Lord.

The priest said that people turn to the Mother of God and the saints in prayer both in joy and in difficult moments, asking for heavenly intercession and help.
