The school tour of the intellectual Olympiad “Christian Doctrine of Man” has ended in the Ekaterinburg diocesetranslated

On October 18 and 25, 2026, in Sunday and general education schools of the Ekaterinburg diocese, a school tour of the intellectual Olympiad of the Ekaterinburg diocese “Christian teaching about man” was held.

More than 700 schoolchildren from 45 Sunday schools, two Orthodox schools and one additional education center took part in the school stage of the Olympics in three age groups: grades 1-4, grades 5-7 and grades 8-11.

Young intellectuals completed tasks on erudition, understanding the sayings of the holy fathers and biblical texts, knowledge of basic concepts and images on the topic of the Olympics. What work was commanded by God to Adam in paradise? What makes a person immortal? What features of the image of God are there in man? – the participants answered these and other interesting questions.

– The school tour was preceded by a conversation on the topic of the Olympiad. About the creation of man, about the tasks set by the Creator for man, about the responsibility of people to the planet, to each other and to God - that’s what the guys and I talked about.
