The VII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Theology in the Scientific and Educational Space” began its work in Yekaterinburgtranslated

Today, October 29, 2026, in Yekaterinburg, on the site of the Historical Multimedia Park “Russia is My History,” the VII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Theology in the Scientific and Educational Space” opened.

The conference will be held over two days – October 29 and 30, in a mixed format: in person and remotely.

The conference is attended by representatives of religious and secular educational institutions, researchers, teachers and students from Yekaterinburg, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Kazan, Surgut, Tobolsk, Khabarovsk and other cities.

Metropolitan Ekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech via video link.

– I thank the Lord for the opportunity to turn again, to gather in Yekaterinburg for joint work. The Apostle Paul instructs us: “Pay attention to yourself and to the teaching. Do this all the time, right? By doing this, you will save yourself and those who listen to you.” These words remind us that responsibility for the knowledge taught is inseparable from attention to one’s own spiritual life.
