Our school had a kid last year who got 100 on the math EGE and still struggled in the first semester at university. Maybe Bolotov is right that the questions need to be harder, closer to olympiad level, so the top score actually means something. Right now it feels like too many kids are gaming the system instead of really mastering the material.
