On September 22, 2026, a working meeting on the preparation of the XXXI Dimitriev educational readings was held at the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov region.

The event was attended by representatives of the clergy of the Don Metropolis, ministries and departments, and the media of the Rostov region.

The meeting was chaired by the forum coordinators: Irina Zhukova, Chairman of the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region on interaction with public associations, youth policy, physical culture, sports and tourism; Olga Shevchenko, executive secretary of the Readings, head of the Diocesan Department of Religious Education and Catechesis; Lyudmila Lenetskaya, Deputy Minister of Education of the Rostov Region.

In the Don region, the XXXI Dimitrievsky educational readings will be held from October 26 to November 13, 2026 as part of the regional stage of the XXXV International Christmas educational readings. The topic of the Readings is “Christian teaching about man and the challenges of modern technologies.”

The organizers of the Readings are the Don Metropolis and the Government of the Rostov Region. The meeting of the organizing committee of the regional Readings will take place on October 7, 2026.
