The Don Metropolis hosted events of the Fund for the Support of Humanitarian and Educational Initiatives “Co-Working” for applicants for grant supporttranslated

On October 6, 2026, on the basis of the private educational institution “St. George’s Orthodox Secondary School” in Rostov-on-Don, events were held by the Fund for Support of Humanitarian and Educational Initiatives “Co-Working” and the dioceses of the Don Metropolis, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the grant program “Orthodox Initiative”.

Heads of departments of the Rostov-on-Don diocese, clergy, representatives of universities and administrations were present offline. Representatives of the Crimean, Volgograd, Astrakhan, and Ekaterinodar Metropolises joined online.

A round table was held with the winners, potential participants and applicants of the international open grant competition “Orthodox Initiative”, the competition of Presidential grants, grants of the Governor of the Rostov region from 2012 to 2026. Practical experience in implementing projects and assessing the results achieved were analyzed, the experience of interaction between church and state institutions, as well as the dynamics of public opinion in dioceses were studied.
