The exhibition “Inspiration by Orthodoxy” opened in Dobrushtranslated

On August 5, 2026, the art exhibition “Inspiration by Orthodoxy” opened at the Dobrush Regional Museum of Local Lore. The exposition continued the international plein air exhibition project “Russian Atlantis”, dedicated to the Orthodox spiritual heritage and cultural traditions.
The exhibition includes works by artists from Belarus and Russia, created during creative plein airs. Their participants worked in holy places, lived in monasteries and became familiar with the way of life of the monasteries. The canvases depict churches, monasteries and the surrounding landscapes, seen by the artists in direct contact with the life of Orthodox shrines.
The dean of the Dobrush district, Archpriest Alexy Pilipenko, addressed the participants of the opening ceremony. He emphasized that staying in holy places gives a person spiritual inspiration and strengthens him in life with God. Then the clergyman performed a prayer service before the exhibition began.
The opening was attended by the Chairman of the Interethnic Business Assembly of the Belarusian Republican Public Association “Rus” A.I. Kopelev and member of the association’s Board of Trustees Andrei Klimovich.
After getting acquainted with the exhibition, the guests visited the church…
