In the village of priest-traveler Feodor Konyukhov, a new church with a spiritual and educational center was foundedtranslated

On October 10, 2026, in the village of the famous traveler priest Feodor Konyukhov in the Zaoksky district of the Tula region, the foundation stone of a new church with a spiritual and educational center took place.

The laying of the church in honor of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon fell on a significant date - exactly a year ago, in the same village, an equally significant church was consecrated - the first church in Central Russia in honor of the famous Georgian elder, St. Gabriel (Urgebadze) of Samtavria.

On the same day, October 10, in the village of Father Theodore, everything began with a cathedral prayer service and the solemn transfer to him of the icon of the blessed princess Anna Kashinskaya with a particle of her relics.

Then a religious procession took place through the village, which continued with the laying of a memorial stone for the new church and a hot lunch in the fresh air.

It is planned that the new church will house a piece of the relics of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon, donated to Father Theodore.

Participants of the celebrations were also able to communicate with Father Theodore on this day, and then visited his art gallery, unique chapels, the House of Friends, a drawing master class and a harvest fair.
