Protopresbyter Vladimir greeted the students, parents, and teachers on the start of the academic year, offering words of encouragement. He remarked: “September 1st is a special day. For first graders, it marks the beginning of their school journey; for graduates, it is a year of significant decisions and farewell to school. I wish everyone diligence, for success in studies depends greatly on diligence—both teachers and students. To the young people, I especially pray for diligence in studies and respect for elders. To educators, patience and wisdom. Good to see Fr Vladimir there at school 11. The bit about wishing the kids diligence and respect for elders makes sense – that's what actually gets them through the year. Nice they joined the 7th grade lesson too.

It’s good that Father Vladimir spoke directly about hard work - without it, no knowledge sticks. In our family, too, elders have always been respected first, and this really helps. And in the 7th grade, during such a lesson about the future of Belarus, it was probably interesting to listen.

Yeah, that part about diligence and respect for elders really hits home. My older girl just started high school and you can tell the difference when kids actually put in the work instead of fooling around. Good that Fr. Vladimir sat in on the 7th grade class too – those talks stick with them.
