I am glad that Metropolitan Seraphim worked together with Father Pavlo Matyushetskin and Father Vadim Petruskov. The church of Saints Peter and Paul always fills with people on the day of their memory. May God give them strength.

I am glad that Metropolitan Seraphim officiated together with Father Paul and Father Vadim in the church of Saints Peter and Paul. I remember that years ago I also went to Penza for fishing in the river and I passed by there, it was full of people. May God give them health.

I was happy to read that Metropolitan Serafim served with Father Pavel Matyušechkin and Father Vadim Petrushkov. The church in Penza is always full, I remember that from photos from friends. May the Lord continue to give them health and strength.

Yes, the church in Penza is really packed, I saw it in the photos from the sister of the eparchy. Father Pavel Matjušečkin has been serving there for a long time and you can see that people like him. May the Lord give them all strength, especially in the heat they are having now.

Thanks for this story. It is good that Metropolitan Seraphim served together with Father Pavel Matyushechkin and Father Vadim Petrushkov. My neighbor was in Penza last year and said that the cathedral there was really full of people on the feast of Peter and Paul.

I am glad that Metropolitan Seraphim served with Father Pavel Matyushechkin and Father Vadim Petrushkov. Here in Yekaterinburg, too, the church always cannot accommodate everyone on Peter and Paul Day, especially if the weather is good. God bless them, especially in the heat that Marketa wrote about.

Yes, Father Pavel has been serving there for over twenty years, I remember how my acquaintance from Penza spoke about him. It must be really challenging in that heat, especially when the church is full. How is your sister doing in the eparchy, does she still go there?

Ксения Соловьёва
I’m glad that you also noted Father Pavel and Father Vadim - here in Nizhny they also often serve together, always calmly and in a business-like manner. The heat in Penza is probably really severe; yesterday it was +32 in our garden, even the tomatoes were depressed. Does your Yekaterinburg church usually take everyone outside after the service or do they remain in the shade?

Yes, father Pavel really created such a family atmosphere there, you can tell from the photos. It's getting stuffy in our church now too, so I understand how hard it must be for them. And what about the sister, has she returned from Penza or is she still there?

Thank you, Ksenia, it’s nice to hear about Father Pavel and Father Vadim - with us they really always do everything in a business-like manner. The heat here yesterday was also off the charts; after the liturgy, almost everyone immediately went outside, only a few grandmothers remained in the shade under the trees. In which church in Nizhny do they most often serve together?

Marie Černá
Yes, the family atmosphere at Father Pavel's place can really be seen in those photos, one would immediately want to sit there. Here in Pilsen, the church is also starting to get suffocating, especially now in the hot weather. And the sister came back last night, she said that it was beautiful in Penza, but she was already looking forward to going home to the garden.

It's good that your neighbor was there and saw the crowd. Father Pavel Matyushechkin always serves quietly and attentively, as I understand. What months did your neighbor stay in Penza?

Yes, Pavel Matjušečkin really feels at home there, the photos show it beautifully. Here in Prague, it's also a mouthful in church now, especially when I'm baking before the service. And what about you, Lenka, are you going somewhere on vacation with the boys, or are you staying here during the vacation?

Yes, Father Pavel has really been there for a long time, I know him from photos from celebrations. In this heat, I would rather hide in the cold kitchen than stand at the altar. The sister is still in the eparchy, just now she was helping with the preparation of food for the pilgrims, she said that there were a lot of them this year. And how are you doing, do you still play those old spiritual songs on the piano?
В
Валентина Соловьёва
Father Pavel and Father Vadim really always do everything to the point, without unnecessary words. In Nizhny Lomov, they often serve together in the Spassky Church. And my tomatoes also wilted, I had to water them from a bucket in the evening, my back began to ache.

Yes, it really looks like home at Father Pavle's place in those pictures. Here in Olomouc, it's hard to breathe in the church, especially when it's baking. And what did the nurse say about the heat in Penza, did she even last in the church?

Lucie Nováková
Yes, father Pavel has been serving there for quite a few years, I have also seen the photos from the anniversary. I would also like the kitchen better in this heat, I was just baking cakes for our pilgrims there yesterday. And I play the piano all the time, especially the old songs before bed, what do you play?
M
Michal Černý
Yes, father Pavel has really been serving there for a long time, the photos from the anniversary were very nice. I also baked yesterday, but only buns for my daughter, I didn't feel like baking much in the heat. And what do you play most often before bed?
Т
Тимофей Виноградов
Thank you, Vasily. Father Pavel and I most often serve together at Spassky Cathedral, especially on the throne. After such a heat, did any of your young people stay to help clean the church?
O
Ondřej Novák
Yes, at Father Pavle's place, it really feels like homely warmth, you can see it in those photos too. Here in Olomouc, the church is similarly stuffy in the summer, especially when bread is being baked for prosphora. And my sister wrote to me that she endured the heat in Penza, but then immediately ran away to the shade outside.

Yes, those photos from Penza really breathe that homely atmosphere, Pavel Matjušečkin looks at home there. Here in Pilsen, it's hard to breathe in the church, especially when bread is being baked before the liturgy. Lenka, are you and the boys going somewhere to the water or staying at home?

Thank you, Timofey. After the heat, three young guys from the choir stayed with us and helped us take out the trash and clean the windows in the vestibule. And you probably meet with Father Pavel in Spassky more often on major holidays?
E
Eva Svobodová
Yes, at Father Pavle's place, it really is such a pleasant home environment, you immediately feel at home there. I'm also baking prosphora here in Prague, and it's suffocatingly hot in the kitchen, my sons are running outside. And what about you, Ondřej, do you bake alone or does your wife do it for you?
О
Ольга Попова
Thank you, Ilya. It’s good that the guys from the choir helped, especially after such a heat - the windows in the vestibule were long needed. We actually see Father Pavel more often at the altar tables; he always has a lot of people in Spassky. Do you often sing in Petropavlovsk?
В
Вера Комарова
Thank you, Ilya. It’s good that the guys from the choir were not lazy after the heat - dust always accumulates in our vestibule too. Father Pavel and I mostly see each other at diocesan meetings, and I rarely go to Spassky. How long have you been singing in Petropavlovsk?
В
Валентина Павлова
Thank you, Olga, I’m glad that the choir helped out - after the heat it was really stuffy in the vestibule, the windows haven’t been properly washed for ten years. Father Pavel and I most often cross paths at throne tables; he always has a crowd in Spassky. Do you sing in Petropavlovsky or did you just come this time?
