On October 14, on the day of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, with the blessing of Archbishop Theodore of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka, the head of the missionary department of the diocese, priest Sergius Cheremisin, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Venerable Martyr Elizabeth at the Paratunsky boarding house for the elderly and disabled in the village of Termalny.

The priest was accompanied and assisted in organizing the service by parishioners of the Cathedral - altar boy Andrey Ivanovich Kisil and his wife Galina Ivanovna.

The librarian of the boarding school, Olga Nikolaevna Demidova, provided special assistance. She has been spiritually caring for the residents of the boarding home and the church located on its territory for more than 15 years. Olga Nikolaevna independently read and sang during the service - this gave the service a special solemnity and reverent beauty.

Residents of the boarding house gathered for the service; most of them arrived in wheelchairs. Everyone who was in the church that day confessed and received the Holy Mysteries of Christ.

During the service, prayers were read for the soldiers, for the granting of victory, as well as for the sick residents of the boarding school.
