Today, October 8, 2026, on the day of the repose of St. Sergius, hegumen of Radonezh, miracle worker, Metropolitan Evgeniy of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye concelebrated with His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia at the Divine Liturgy in the Assumption Cathedral of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra of Sergiev Posad.

Among those who concelebrated with His Holiness the Patriarch were also representatives of the Local Orthodox Churches.

Bishops, abbots and abbess of Orthodox monasteries, clergy, monastics and pilgrims who arrived for the celebrations at the Trinity-Sergius Lavra prayed in the cathedral.
