On August 1, on the feast of the discovery of the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov, the miracle worker (1903), Bishop Ignatius of Polotsk and Glubokoe led the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Glubokoe.
At the gates of the cathedral, the bishop was greeted by the chairman of the regional Council of Deputies, Vera Mikhailovna Telitsa.
At the walls of the temple, Bishop Ignatius was solemnly greeted with a loaf and flowers by the deputy chairman of the parish council, Igor Viktorovich Kukhtov and Lyudmila Mikhailovna Kulikovskaya.
