On the day of remembrance of the transfer of the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov, a bishop’s Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the St. Panteleimon Monasterytranslated

On August 1, on the day of remembrance of the transfer of the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov, Bishop Feognost of Serov and Krasnoturinsk celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir of the St. Panteleimon Women's Monastery in the city of Krasnoturinsk. His Eminence was served by the temple clinics.
The nun Afanasia, the sisters of the holy monastery, as well as the parishioners of the temple prayed during the service. On this holiday, believers raised their petitions to St. Seraphim, asking for his intercession and spiritual support.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Theognostus addressed the monastery sisters and parishioners with a sermon.
The Bishop especially focused on the spiritual appearance of St. Seraphim: “We are accustomed to hearing about him as a great ascetic, but it is important to see in him, first of all, a person who learned to live with God. His feat is not only many years of seclusion, pillar-building and prayer on a stone, but also the fact that after all the trials he came out to people with one word: “My joy, Christ is Risen!” These words contain the whole essence of his experience: in the midst of sorrows and labors, he found Easter joy, which is stronger than any pain.”
