On the day of remembrance of Metropolitan Nestor (Anisimov) commemorative events were held in Peredelkinotranslated

November 4, the day of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, has traditionally become the day of remembrance of Metropolitan Nestor (Anisimov), the Kamchatka missionary of the first bishop of the Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka diocese at the patriarchal courtyard in Peredelkino. After the Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Holy Blessed Prince Igor of Chernigov in Peredelkino, a requiem service was served at the grave of the Bishop.  Earlier, on October 25, at the Patriarchal Metochion in Peredelkino, a lecture by the biographer of Bishop Nestor, Olga Vladimirovna Kosik, “Metropolitan Nestor and Members of the Royal Family” took place. The lecturers' story was accompanied by a demonstration of photographic materials. Residents of Kamchatka were able to join the event online.
