On the day of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, a festive concert was held in Elistatranslated

On November 4, 2026, on the day of the celebration of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God - the patronal feast of the Kazan Cathedral of Elista - a festive concert took place on the territory of the cathedral church. Its spectators were the participants of the festive service. The festive program was presented by the “Joy” choir, a children’s and youth choir of the Sunday school of the Kazan Cathedral, an exemplary artistic group led by Marina Grishchenko, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kalmykia. The Stepnyanochka ensemble from the city of Elista, whose artistic director is Olga Popova, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kalmykia, also performed their numbers. The concert program included folk songs, works dedicated to Russia, and spiritual chants. The final song was performed by the host of the concert, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kalmykia Angelina Serova. The festive event was attended by Archbishop Justinian of Elista and Kalmykia.
