At the parishes of churches of the Chelyabinsk diocese, the charity event “Let’s get a child to school” has ended. Thanks to the help of parishioners, volunteers and benefactors, more than 600 children from large and low-income families received school supplies. For many families, preparing for September 1 becomes a serious financial burden. Thanks to the campaign, parents were able to cut costs, and children were able to start the school year with everything they needed for classes. The Chelyabinsk diocese thanks everyone who helped in carrying out the action: social workers and parish employees, sisters of mercy, volunteers and donors.
