The Department of Social Ministry of the Chelyabinsk Diocese has announced an annual charity event “Let’s get a child ready for school.” Its goal is to help children from low-income and large families prepare for the new school year. Only new school supplies are accepted: notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, albums, paints, brushes, colored paper and cardboard, plasticine, as well as pencil cases, backpacks and bags for replacement shoes. All funds raised will be used to purchase school supplies and backpacks for families who especially need support.
