A common fraternal prayer service was held in Chelyabinsktranslated

On the first Sunday of August, a general fraternal prayer service for Russia, the authorities, the military, the health and salvation of Orthodox Christians took place on the territory of the “Grieving Mothers” memorial. A prayer service in front of the Augustovskaya Icon of the Mother of God was performed by the rector of the temple in honor of the Tabynskaya Icon of the Mother of God, Priest Stefan Koksharov. Representatives of public organizations prayed together with the parishioners: the “Forty Sorokov” movement, the Chelyabinsk branch of the World Russian People’s Council, the organizations “Life Line”, “Northern Man” (Chelyabinsk) and “Volunteers of the Home Front - Chelyabinsk”. Such meetings help strengthen the unity of Orthodox Christians, provide an opportunity not only to pray together, but also to communicate, support each other and make joint plans. At the same time, in the temple of the Tabyn Icon of the Mother of God, employees of the S.P.A.S. help service operating at the Odigitrievsky Convent performed a prayer.
