Tomorrow, October 9, the program for celebrating the days of saints of the Chelyabinsk Metropolis begins. The celebrations will open with the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Church in Chelyabinsk. On October 9, the Church celebrates the repose of the Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian, as well as the day of remembrance of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia. At 8:00, the Liturgy in the oldest church in Chelyabinsk will be led by the permanent member of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, the chairman of the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Kliment of Kaluga and Borovsk, and the head of the Chelyabinsk Metropolis, Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass.
