Monuments to Saint Admiral Fyodor Ushakov were unveiled in Astrakhan and Voronezhtranslated

Over a period of three days, from September 11 to 13, 2026, bust monuments to the outstanding Russian naval commander, the righteous warrior Feodor Ushakov, were unveiled in two Russian cities.

On September 11, the monument was inaugurated and consecrated in the city of Astrakhan, opposite the House of Officers of the Caspian Flotilla, the Foma magazine was told by the initiative group for the construction of a spiritual and historical complex in honor of the holy righteous warrior Theodore Ushakov in the city of Moscow (Levoberezhny), which is implementing the project.

The opening date was not chosen by chance, because... It was on September 11 that the Day of Military Glory of Russia was celebrated - the victory of the Russian squadron under the command of St. Theodore Ushakov at Cape Tendra in 1790.

In the co-service of the clergy, the monument-bust was consecrated by Metropolitan Nikon of Astrakhan and Kamyzyak.

The opening ceremony of the sculpture was attended by the Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin, Vice-Governor - Chairman of the Government of the Astrakhan Region Denis Afanasyev, Deputy. Commander of the Red Banner Caspian...
