The remains of an unknown Red Army soldier were buried in Apalshchinotranslated

On October 8, in the village of Apalshchino, Ruza Municipal District, a ceremonial burial of the remains of an unknown Red Army soldier who died in the 1941 battles in the Moscow region took place.

The ceremony was attended by government officials, the public and local residents.

The rector of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Life-Giving Spring” in the village of Lyzlovo, Archpriest Alexander Maltsev, performed a funeral litany and said a word about the importance of preserving military-historical memory.
