The grand opening of the sculpture “Intercessor” took place in the agricultural town of Belovezhskytranslated

On October 14, the grand opening of the sculpture “Intercessor” took place in the agricultural town of Belovezhsky. The event was attended by the rector of the parish of the Church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia, Priest Alexander Sychevich, the chairman of the Brest Regional Council of Deputies Marina Kovalevskaya and representatives of the district administration.

The morning began with joint prayer at the Divine Liturgy. Honorary guests and representatives of the district authorities prayed together with the parishioners in the church.

The culmination of the celebration was the cutting of the ribbon. Father Alexander consecrated the monument, after which the participants laid flowers at its foot.

The sculpture “Intercessor” has become a symbol of maternal love, protection and eternal gratitude to all mothers.
