The Achinsk Orthodox Preobrazhenskaya Primary Gymnasium hosted the opening of the Intercession Festival, an annual holiday that includes a series of events dedicated to the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The first event was a conversation with the priest.

The cleric of the Kazan Cathedral, Priest Artemy Katyushkin, told students about the meaning and significance of the holiday. The children learned about the miraculous appearance of the Mother of God in Constantinople, and also became acquainted with the icon “Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos.” At the end of the conversation, the priest blessed the guys and wished that the readiness to help and support each other would always live in their hearts.
