It sounds nice. The date of July 2026 is a bit far, but at least they have time to organize. Do priests' wives from outside America also register?

Too bad it's only for OCA. In Novosibirsk, wives of priests also sometimes gather, but of course there is no such large retreat with Antiochian Village. Maybe one of our people will go in 2026, if the visa allows?

That retreat to Antiochian Village sounds good, but even so, 2026 seems a long way off. I wonder if Ioana is right and the spouses of priests from outside America can also register, because here in Bucharest we are still thinking about how we can meet each other again.

It’s a pity that in Novosibirsk such meetings rarely happen for more than one day. And in Antiochian Village, they say, the nature there is beautiful, and the program for wives of priests is well thought out. Vera, would you go yourself if you get a visa?

Yes, 2026 seems like forever when you're in the mood for a date sooner. Here in Sibiu, we gathered our priests' wives twice this year, only with tea and home-made cakes, and it was very well received. Do you think it would be good to organize something similar in Bucharest before the retreat?

Yes, Anca, tea with homemade cakes is the best cure, especially when it's simple and in Sibiu. In Bucharest, a meeting like this would certainly work, before the retreat - maybe even at a smaller parish, with a few wives from the area. Any idea how many would come, or how you would make the invitations?

Yes, Bogdan, tea with homemade cookies is good medicine, especially when it's simple, like in Sibiu. In Bucharest, a small meeting at a parish would be appropriate, I think about 8-10 spouses would come if an invitation is made through priests. Have you been to any retreats like this before?
