A concert of religious songs dedicated to the Mother of God brought together believers from Serbia and Romania in Vârsettranslated

The concert of religious songs dedicated to the Mother of God, held on Sunday at the Episcopal Cathedral in Vârset, brought together many believers from both the historical Romanian communities in the Republic of Serbia and Romania.
Among the guests of the evening were Simona Mazăre, Anisia Liviana Groza, Larisa Francesca Nisioi and Archdeacon Alexandru Chiriac, together with the "Ethos" Psaltic Group of the Diocese of Caransebeș.
The performed repertoire included religious chants and musical creations dedicated to the Most Holy Theotokos, in the context of the Fast of the Assumption of the Mother of God.
"The concert was part of the series of events through which the Diocese of Dacia Felix seeks to cultivate the Orthodox faith and strengthen the communion between Romanians in the Republic of Serbia and those in Romania," the diocese said.
Present at the event, His Holiness Father Ieronimo, Bishop of Dacia Felix, spoke about the foundations of honoring the Mother of God in the life of the Church, highlighting the special place that the Most Holy Theotokos occupies in the economy of salvation.
