A Ceaslov printed in Târgoviște in 1715, during the time of Saint Antim Ivireanul, became the August exhibit at the Maramureș County Museum of History and Archaeology.

The volume is part of the museum's old Romanian book collection and was presented in a post on the cultural institution's Facebook page by museographer Marius Câmpeanu as "a particularly valuable copy".

The edition presented to the public is of particular importance for the history of Romanian culture and printing, representing, according to the specialist, the first translation of Ceaslov into Romanian.

"The work was dedicated by the archbishop to voivode Ștefan Cantacuzino, who financially supported the publication of important religious books for Romanian culture, among which we mention the Bible from Bucharest (1688)," Marius Câmpeanu said.

The copy kept at the museum comprises three unnumbered sheets and 506 numbered pages. The text is printed in black and red, with 26 lines per column, and the title-page is framed by a simple border, completed at the top with floral ornaments. On the reverse side there is the coat of arms of Wallachia and the initials of Voivode Ștefan Cantacuzino.
