Today, July 19, marks the 35th anniversary of the restoration of the structures of the Latin Rite Catholic Church in Ukraine. Celebrations are being held at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Holy Scapular in Berdychiv, with Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher present as the Pope's special envoy.

Мария Соловьёва35 years is a long time. It’s interesting how exactly in 1990 the structures in Berdychive were restored after everything Soviet. And Archbishop Gallagher came specially from Rome, which means this is an important date for them.
