Pupils of school No. 104 in the village of Podgorny visited the local churchtranslated

Pupils of the 2nd grade of secondary school No. 104 in the village of Podgorny visited the Church of the Resurrection of Christ. The visit to the church and familiarization with it were timed to coincide with the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, which the Church celebrates on October 14.

The priest congratulated the children on the holiday, gave them an introductory lecture on the church and told them about the history of the Feast of the Intercession of the Mother of God. The children also learned about the shrines of the church and how believers pray to the Most Holy Theotokos and the saints.

The meeting took place in a warm and festive atmosphere. The children listened with interest to the priest’s story, looked at the church decorations and icons, and asked questions.
