Prikhody.ru 09/16/2026. As part of the diocesan Princely automobile religious procession, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Vasilievsky monastery in the village of Vyatka (Omsk region). Many participants in the procession and local residents were honored to receive communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ.

Getting here is not easy: first you need to get to the village of Kaisy (there are no paved roads), and then travel about six kilometers along a forest road. Pilgrims are often transported on horseback. The arrival of the clergy and pilgrims with a procession of the cross is always a big holiday for the residents of the monastery.

The diocesan Princely procession of the cross is traditionally held in the Tara diocese in honor of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky from September 11 to 14. Clergy and laity visit the settlements of the Omsk Metropolis: Tambovka, Evgashchino, Pologrudovo, Tevriz, Ekaterinovka, Kaisy, Vyatka, Urals, Tyukalinsk.
