Participation of the chairman of the missionary department in a church-wide webinar on the rehabilitation of persons who have fallen away from Orthodoxytranslated

On September 18, a church-wide online webinar was held on the topic “The most pressing issues of rehabilitation of persons who have fallen away from Orthodoxy.” The chairman of the missionary department of the Samara diocese, Archpriest Alexy Bogdan, took part in the remote forum. A thematic lecture for diocesan specialists was given by the famous Orthodox missionary and sectologist Andrei Ivanovich Solodkov. During the webinar, practical issues of performing the rites of joining the Orthodox Church for persons returning from schisms and sectional formations were discussed in detail. The lecturer paid special attention to the new collection of rites of accession, which is being prepared for publication, which has been adjusted to take into account modern religious and social realities.
