Students of the Mozdok children's art school represent the Vladikavkaz diocese at an interregional competitiontranslated

The team of the Vladikavkaz diocese takes part in the interregional art competition “Traditions of my family. My little homeland." The Vladikavkaz diocese is represented at the competition by students of the Mozdok children's art school named after T. M. Tadeev - Ellina Zhuplei and Daria Bogacheva. The organizers of the competition are the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Russian Orthodox Church, the autonomous non-profit organization “Center for Educational and Cultural Initiatives “Generation”, as well as the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Vladikavkaz Diocese.

Well done to the Mozdok school for sending Elina Zhuplei and Daria Bogacheva. I wonder what kind of works they took to the “Traditions of My Family” competition. Good luck to them, let them show our small homeland from the best side.

I remember seeing some of the kids' family-themed drawings at last year's parish fair in Mozdok — really nice details about Ossetian traditions. Hope Ellina and Daria brought something similar; it'd be cool to hear what exactly they chose for "My Small Homeland." Good luck to them.

I hope that the girls brought some drawings with details of Ossetian traditions, like the ones I saw at the parish fair last year in Mozdok. I remember a family embroidering traditional costumes, it was very vivid. Good luck to Ellina and Daria, I hope they bring something good back.

It’s good that the Mozdok school named after Tadeev again went to such a competition. I wonder if Ellina Zhuplei and Daria Bogacheva brought something about Ossetian family traditions, like those drawings with embroidered costumes that were shown at the fair last year. I saw those drawings too — the one with the Ossetian three pies and the family table was especially well done. Ellina told me at church last week that she’s submitting her watercolour of the old Mozdok fortress at sunset with her grandmother’s garden in the foreground. Hope it does well.
