An evening of music and poetry was held at the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow”translated

“Let's meet on a cozy evening” - under this name, a musical charity evening was held at the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in Gomel.

On September 6, parishioners and friends of the parish, graduates of biblical and theological courses and city residents gathered in the open area near the church. The program featured musical works and poems performed by invited musicians and poets. The special guest of the evening was the Slavic song ensemble “Zbitsen”.

The parish youth treated the guests to homemade cakes and herbal tea. Participants of the meeting could listen to music and poetry and communicate in an informal setting.

The collected charitable donations will be used for the construction of a new parish church.
