In Kherson, three UOC churches were damaged as a result of Russian shellingtranslated

On the morning of August 19, 2026, Russian troops launched an artillery bombardment of Kherson. As a result of the hits, three churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church suffered significant damage. This was reported by the Information and Educational Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church with reference to the press service of the Kherson Diocese. An enemy shell hit the territory of the Assumption Cathedral. As a result of shelling, the central entrance and facade of the church were damaged, windows were broken. MORE →
