In the 2nd Resurrection Deanery, the project “Sewing with Yulia” was launched, which is currently being implemented on the basis of the museum room at the Ascension Church in the village of Baranovskoye. In March 2026, parishioners of the churches of the 2nd Voskresensky deanery district united into a small group - the women's club "Svetelka" and, under the leadership of the artist Yulia Bragina, became familiar with the peculiarities of sewing the main elements of the Russian traditional costume - a shirt, a sundress and an apron-curtain. As a result, all the craftswomen sewed sundress complexes, some sewed them not only for themselves, but also for their daughters and granddaughters. The sundress complex was based on a straight-cut sundress, which had the second name “round”. This sundress appeared in folk costume in the mid-19th century. Natural fabrics with traditional patterns were used to make the costume. The main decoration was the curtain apron; the embroidery of the craftswomen's grandmothers and great-grandmothers was used to sew it. The use of ancient embroidery made it possible to decorate the costume and introduce a piece of family history into it.
