Traditions and modernity: teachers from the Gomel region completed training in the family values programtranslated

At the Gomel Regional Institute for Educational Development, from September 21 to 25, 2026, advanced training courses “Traditional family values in the context of Orthodox culture” were held according to the author’s program of the senior teacher of the department of pedagogy and private methods Khorik T.A. 26 teaching staff from the region attended the course.

The advanced training program combined the theoretical foundations of pedagogy and practical experience of interaction with representatives of the Belarusian Orthodox Church. The following speakers addressed the audience:

-Archpriest Artemy Krivitsky – Chairman of the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Gomel Diocese of the BOC;

-Archpriest Alexander Lopushansky - Chairman of the Church Historical Commission of the Gomel Diocese of the BOC, rector of the parish of the Church of the Hieromartyr Alexy Presbyter Lelchitsky in Gomel;

-Bosovets Natalya Aleksandrovna – coordinator of the parish of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Gomel for religious education and catechesis;

-Svetlana Aleksandrovna Khomets – coordinator of the department of religious education and catechesis of the Gomel diocese of the BOC;
