On October 16, a solemn ceremony of oath of allegiance to the Cossacks took place at the Novospassky Technological College in the working village of Novospasskoye.

Before the start of the ceremony, the dean of the Novospassky district, Hieromonk Peter (Ivanov), and the rector of the Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Trinity Sungur, Archpriest Andrei Korshunov, performed a prayer service for the beginning of a good deed. At the end of the prayer service, Father Peter and Father Andrey congratulated the guys on taking the oath and wished them God’s help in serving the Fatherland and preserving Cossack traditions.

70 pupils of the Trinity-Sungur Cossack secondary school, Novospasskaya school No. 1 named after A.S. Makarenko and the Novospassky Cadet Corps made a solemn cadet promise. Nine Cossacks underwent the ancient rite of imposition and took the Cossack oath.
