The Secretary General for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Education of Greece visited the Patriarch of Jerusalem

On Friday, 9 October 2026, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem received the Secretary General for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Education, Mr Georgios Kalantzis, accompanied by the Director of his Office, Mrs Vasiliki Keramida, and the Consul General of Greece in Jerusalem, Mr Dimitrios Angelosopoulos.

Patriarch Theophilos warmly welcomed Mr Kalantzis, commending him for his keen interest in and practical support for the affairs of the Patriarchate, as well as for his significant contribution to resolving the recently emerged problem concerning the Holy Monastery of Saint Catherine on Mount Sinai.
