"The Chios Festival" honors Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandriatranslated

On the occasion of the completion of five years of the creative process of "THE CHIOS FESTIVAL", this year is a milestone with emblematic celebratory actions in which the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Excellency, will be present as special guests. Theodoros II, the President of the Parliament of the Greeks, Mr. Nikitas Kaklamanis, as well as the President of the Academy of Athens, Professor Nikiforos Diamantouros. The 5th "THE CHIOS FESTIVAL", an important action of the North Aegean Region will take place from August 25th to September 4th, under the auspices of UNESCO and the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.

An evening with the highest spiritual symbolism will be that of Friday, August 28, as there will be an event dedicated to A.Th.M. the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, Mr. Theodore II. The event will highlight the historical, spiritual and ecumenical ties of Hellenism with Alexandria and Orthodoxy.
