The annual ‘March for Life’ in London took place with an Orthodox presence organised by the Diocese.

The event, which stresses the understanding of the sanctity of life, had an expanded Orthodox presence this year, led by Priest Mark Tattum-Smith of our Diocese, an inviting participation from other Orthodox jurisdictions in the British Isles.

It’s good that this year participation was expanded and other jurisdictions were invited. Father Mark Tattum-Smith apparently organized everything well. In Krasnodar, we also sometimes have such quiet religious processions for life, you always think how important it is to just come and stand.

It's good that they invited other jurisdictions this year, it sounds more united. Father Mark Tattum-Smith seems to have put everything together carefully. Here in Craiova, we once went to a prayer for life in front of the clinic, it was quiet and it felt like we needed to be there, even if there were only a few.

Well said, Maria, unity is better seen when you call others too. Father Mark seems like the man who organizes without fuss, but with care. Here in Iași, we have not yet had such a prayer in front of the clinic, but I think it would be good to try here too, at least once a year.

Yes, Maria, the invitation to other jurisdictions really changes the air, it seems more natural that way. Father Mark really knows how to organize without putting on a show. Here in Cluj, we haven't reached a prayer in front of the clinic yet, but after reading what you say about the silence in Craiova, I'm seriously thinking about proposing at our parish this year as well.
