Thessaloniki stärkt seine Beziehungen zu Rumänien durch ein Kulturförderungsprogramm in Bukarestübersetzt

The municipality of Thessaloniki in Greece is strengthening its ties with a cultural and religious promotion program in Bucharest, according to Facebook posts by the Center for the Heritage of Mount Athos (Aghioritiki Estia).
The action, entitled "Thessaloniki Destination", took place on September 24-25, in which a delegation from the Greek city, led by the mayor Stelios Angeloudis, participated.
The aim of the program was to attract more Romanian visitors throughout the year by promoting Thessaloniki as a modern tourist destination and capitalizing on the heritage, culture, local gastronomy and the opportunities offered in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation and investment.
As part of the action in Bucharest, the Greek delegation visited the exhibition "Mount Athos and Meteora 1929 - The hidden treasure of Princeton", which presents a collection of photographs and video materials taken almost 100 years ago and rediscovered in the archives of Princeton University in the United States of America.
The project is presented in Romania in collaboration with the Department of Art and Archeology of Princeton University and the Byzantine Cultural Foundation...
