On August 17, the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos “Tenderness” was delivered to the military units of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Yelizovo. The prayer services were performed by Archpriest Vladimir Bogoslavsky, head of the department for interaction with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, Archpriest Victor Muzykant, Priest Sergiy Kizhaev, and hieromonks of the Pskov-Pechersk Monastery Savva and Anatoly.

One of the prayer services was attended by the Commander of the troops and forces in the North-East of Russia, Vice Admiral Alexander Yuryevich Yuldashev.

At the end of the prayer service, the servicemen venerated the Shrine.
