The priest conducted a moral lesson for high school students of Zheleznogorsk schooltranslated

On October 22, as part of the Day of Legal Knowledge at school No. 97 of Zheleznogorsk, a meeting of high school students - students of schools 97 and 95 - was held with the cleric of the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael, Priest Alexy Meshcheryakov.
Addressing the children, the clergyman raised topics that concern every teenager on the threshold of adulthood: what is the meaning of life, what is the true value of the human person and what is mercy in the modern world. Father Alexy explained that the golden rule of morality and the biblical commandments are not something archaic - this is an internal law that allows a person to be happy.
The priest noted that compliance not only with civil laws, but also with the golden rules prescribed in the Holy Scriptures is the key to human happiness and a fulfilling existence. “Civil law punishes crime, but only moral law helps prevent it in the heart,” he emphasized.
The meeting was held in the format of a live dialogue, and schoolchildren were able to ask questions that interested them.
