The priest took part in the celebrations on the occasion of Fire Service Day in Ostrovetstranslated

On July 25, rescuers of the Republic of Belarus celebrate their professional holiday. On the eve of the main celebration, employees of the Ostrovets district emergency department gathered in a multifunctional complex for a solemn event.

Representatives of secular authorities and security forces, as well as the dean of the Ostrovets district, Archpriest Georgy Savitsky, were invited to the celebrations. The priest congratulated everyone on the holiday, wished God's help in the service, and also presented the head of the Ostrovets department of the Regional Emergency Service, Andrei Pavlovich Babichev, with an icon of the Mother of God “The Burning Bush” and church literature for the departments.
