The priest blessed the first Cossack class in Sharypovotranslated

On September 7, at school No. 8 in the city of Sharypovo, the project “Future Cossacks of the village of Sharypovo” was launched, the goal of which is to educate a new generation based on cultural and spiritual values. For students of the first Cossack class named after Ataman Miloslav Koltsov, this day became the day of taking the oath.
The event was attended by the assistant dean of the churches of the Sharypovo district, the full-time cleric of the Cathedral in the name of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity of the city of Sharypovo, Priest Vasily Popovsky. The priest prayed and sprinkled the students, their parents and guests with holy water, asking for God's blessing on their chosen path. After this, the guys solemnly pronounced the words of the oath, promising to bear the title of Cossack with honor, to be worthy students and support for the Fatherland and the Orthodox faith.
Father Vasily addressed those gathered with a pastoral word, noting that the Cossacks are an inextricable link between the defense of the Fatherland and the Orthodox faith, and the task of the Cossacks is not only to learn, but also to keep the faith, to love the Motherland and to be its worthy citizens.
The children were also given farewell words by the school director and the curator of the Cossack class. All students received their first shoulder straps.
