The priest blessed the recruits of the 90th Tank Division to take the military oathtranslated

A solemn ceremony of taking the military oath took place in the 90th Vitebsk-Novgorod Tank Division in Chebarkul. The assistant division commander for work with religious servicemen, Priest Ilya Shamrai, took part in it.

On the parade ground, the recruits, in the presence of commanders, colleagues and relatives, swore to fulfill their military duty with dignity and courageously defend the freedom, independence and constitutional order of the Russian Federation.

Addressing the military personnel, Father Elijah wished the young soldiers courage, fortitude and God's help. He emphasized that it is important for the defender of the Fatherland to maintain not only loyalty to the military oath, but also moral and spiritual values.
