Community work day at the rehabilitation centertranslated
A traditional volunteer cleanup took place at the “Salvation Island” rehabilitation center; participants in the “Warmth of the Soul” movement at the St. Nicholas Church in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk joined the action.
Volunteers carried out a large amount of work: prepared the site for the construction of the chapel, sowed a lawn for ducks and tidied up the greenhouses and beds.
The event ended with a joint meal, where guests were treated to home-cooked food.
As a token of gratitude, the rehabilitation workers donated part of the harvest they had grown with their own hands to the parishioners of St. Nicholas Church.
