Students and Educators Blessed at All Saints Church Ahead of the 2026-27 Academic Year

OLYPHANT, PA [DOEPA] - On Sunday, August 23, 2026, the Leavetaking of the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God, the faithful of All Saints Church gathered for the celebration of the Divine Liturgy. The parish community gathered in prayer for all students, educators, and school employees preparing for the coming academic year.

Bine că au făcut slujba asta chiar de hramul Adormirii, înainte să înceapă școala. La noi în parohie obișnuiam să binecuvântăm ghiozdanele copiilor, dar acum văd că se roagă și pentru profesori și angajați, ceea ce e foarte practic. Dumnezeu să le dea putere tuturor.

La noi în Sibiu, preotul binecuvântează și caietele și penarele copiilor înainte de 1 septembrie, dar mi-a plăcut că au pomenit și educatorii și angajații. E adevărat ce zice Constantin, e mai practic așa. Să le ajute Bunul Dumnezeu tot anul.
