Students for Life Bucharest transform a hike into support for young pregnant women who want to continue their studiestranslated

The Student Association for Life Bucharest transforms a 17-kilometer hike into a support initiative for young women who are pregnant or who are mothers and want to continue their university studies.
The charity action, part of the "Move for Life" project, takes place between August 20-23, on the route between Putna Monastery and Sucevița Monastery. Through this approach, the organizers propose to collect 9,000 lei.
The money collected will help establish a fund to support five female students who are pregnant or have small children. Each beneficiary will receive a scholarship of 300 lei per month, for six months, starting from October 2026.
Financial support is intended for young women who wish to continue their studies at a time when family responsibilities may bring additional difficulties.
"Not just for beautiful landscapes and a breath of fresh air, but because we want to do a good deed and turn our steps into concrete support for other people," the association's representatives said in a post on their Facebook page.
