August 19 is the great twelfth feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ. On the eve of the holiday, Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky performed an all-night vigil, and on the day of Transfiguration, the Divine Liturgy in the Spaso-Ascension Cathedral of Ulyanovsk in the concelebration of the cathedral clergy.
